Carla Salazar Bio: Carla Salazar, born amidst the vibrant landscapes of Lima, Peru, embarked on a transformative journey to Canada in 2003, accompanied by her husband and two cherished children. For nearly two decades, she has called Saint John her home.
Carla, an emerging artist, experienced a profound artistic reawakening during the pandemic, reconnecting with her ancestral roots. In the delicate and intricate art of embroidery, she discovered a new path to express her creative spirit.
Her artistic process dances with the poetry of nature, weaving together motifs that evoke the resplendence of the natural world. Her palette, infused with vivid and joyous colors, resonates deep within the soul.
